The Longganisa Festival, typically held in late January,
serves as a vibrant showcase of Vigan’s culinary heritage and community spirit.
This gastronomic extravaganza attracts both locals and tourists, all eager to

has become synonymous with the city. At the heart of the Longganisa Festival is
the celebration of Vigan’s longganisa-making tradition—a craft that has been
passed down through generations. The festival provides a platform for local
longganisa makers to showcase their culinary prowess, creativity, and unique
recipes, each reflecting the distinct flavors and techniques that define
Vigan’s culinary identity. The festival kicks off with a lively parade, where

talent, cultural heritage, and community spirit of Vigan. As the rhythmic beat
of drums fills the air, colorful banners flutter in the breeze, and brass
instruments gleam under the sun, the streets of Vigan come alive with the
sights and sounds of the marching bands. Led by drum majors in resplendent
uniforms, the bands march in perfect formation, their synchronized movements a
testament to hours of practice and dedication. The Vigan marching bands draw
inspiration from a rich musical tradition that spans generations. Many of the
bands have deep roots in the community, with members ranging from school
students to seasoned musicians. Each band brings its unique style and
repertoire to the parade, infusing the atmosphere with a dynamic energy that is
both exhilarating and infectious. this picture is my former school Mindoro Elementary School during the marching band parade. i'm proud of them because they improved a lot and they happily played instruments.
Misa Concelebrada Feast Of St. Paul
The Misa Concelebrada of St. Paul holds profound
significance in Vigan’s religious and cultural landscape, symbolizing the
spiritual heritage and communal devotion of its people. This solemn mass, or
Misa Concelebrada, is a sacred gathering where multiple priests, or
concelebrants, jointly officiate in honor of St. Paul, the patron saint of the
city. The event typically occurs during Vigan’s annual fiesta, which
commemorates St. Paul’s feast day and serves as a focal point for the
community’s religious observances and celebrations. The Misa Concelebrada of
St. Paul is marked by its sense of reverence and unity, as priests from various
parishes come together to lead the congregation in prayer and worship. The mass

Have you heard the word “brillare come una stella”?, it is a italian words that my mother always says to me whenever i loose my confidence that means “ shine like a star”.
Stepping out of my comfort zone was the hardest chapter in this narrative. Embracing unfamiliar situations and taking on new challenges fostered adaptability and resilience. It allowed me to discover unveiled potential and capabilities, further fueling my confidence. Each venture into the unknown became a testament to my ability to navigate uncertainty. The importance of seeking support and learning from others became evident during this journey. My Mother, Friends encouragement and guidance served as my source of inspiration, offering a fresh lens through which to view challenges and triumphs. Collaborative learning and shared experiences became cornerstones in building my confidence
"IF YOU BELIEVE IN YOURSELF AND FEEL CONFIDENT IN YOURSELF, YOU CAN DO ANYTHING” - karlie kloss. This quote emphasizes the power of self-belief and confidence in achieving one's goals. It suggests that having faith in your abilities and feeling assured about yourself can be a driving force that enables you to overcome challenges and accomplish anything you set your mind to.
In conclusion, my journey toward increasing confidence has been a multifaceted expedition marked by self-awareness, resilience, positive self-talk, collaborative learning, and stepping out of my comfort zone. It is an ongoing process, a commitment to continuous improvement and self-discovery. As I continue to evolve and grow, I am reminded that confidence is not a destination but a dynamic and ever-expanding journey.
