1 More to Go!

This third quarter has taught me a lot. In the second quarter, I stated that my struggles both inside and outside of school have made me a fighter. However, this third quarter has taught me that every fighter needs to rest; it's okay to take a break and recharge for your next battle in life. This quarter, I've also realized that trust is essential for a positive relationship with people. There are moments when you think you can rely on the person you trust the most, but you never know what will happen because it can be difficult to regain their faith and trust in you.

During the third quarter, the material discussed in class became too fascinating for me to ignore. Through ICT, I learned about Frames, the HTML List, and many other topics. Web developers can organize a collection of similar elements into lists by using HTML List. With HTML frames, you may create several areas in your browser window, each of which can load a different HTML document. A frameset is a grouping of frames in the browser window. Similar to how tables are arranged into rows and columns, the window is divided into frames. Thank you, Ma’am Evelyn Reyes-Vera Cruz and Sir____ for teaching us about HTML.

Among the things I have studied in this course is community-based research (CBR), a methodological approach that prioritizes community relationships.

In the next quarter, I hope to find out more, and regardless of what transpires or how things turn out, I want to remind myself that you have my utmost admiration. Remember your objectives at all times, but don't forget to take care of yourself. This third one. Overall, I would say that this quarter was incredibly tough, but I am glad that I made it through, and I hope that next quarter will be even easier for me. Hopefully makahigh honors nako this third quarter so that I can make my parents proud again.

THE HIGH SCHOOL DAY WE WILL NEVER FORGET; ISNHS FOUNDATION DAY 2024

It is such a lonely experience to be imprisoned in your own home with nothing to do and no one to mingle with, but the struggle is finally won. It's time for each of us to start a new chapter because the pandemic has already passed. Previously, all schools were closed; but, as of late, all have reopened to pupils, with a particular greeting to those at ISNHS. Once the gates are opened, one of the highlights of the school year, High School Day, is once again marked, marking a fresh start for the institution, the students, the faculty, and the non-teaching staff at ISNHS

The annual celebration of ISNHS Foundation Day marks a significant milestone in the journey of our beloved institution. It is a time to reflect on our rich history, celebrate our achievements, and reaffirm our commitment to excellence in education. This year’s celebration promises to be a memorable occasion, filled with pride, camaraderie, and a deep sense of gratitude for all those who have contributed to the success of ISNHS.

As we gather to commemorate ISNHS Foundation Day, it is essential to look back on the humble beginnings of our school. From its inception, ISNHS has been a beacon of academic excellence, a nurturing ground for young minds, and a pillar of the community. Over the years, we have witnessed the transformation of our school from a modest institution to a renowned center of learning, thanks to the dedication and perseverance of our founders, educators, and students.

There are a lot of events happened during the 122nd high school day and here are some:

ISNHS Foundation Day is also a time to celebrate the numerous achievements and milestones that we have accomplished together as a school community. Whether it be academic triumphs, athletic victories, or artistic accomplishments, each success is a testament to the hard work, talent, and determination of our students and educators. As we gather to celebrate our achievements, let us take pride in our collective accomplishments and use them as inspiration to reach even greater heights in the years to come.

The events of the 121st High School Day celebration exemplify the ISNHS family's ecstatic and unbreakable unity. Each person sprang to the air fearlessly, flapping their wings and shooting upward and upward. After 121 years, the 1902 ISNHS remained the same.

Lahat Tayo ay Tungo sa Tagumpay, Babae Ikaw Naman!

Women’s Month is a time dedicated to celebrating the achievements and contributions of women throughout history and in contemporary society. It is a time to reflect on the progress that has been made in advancing gender equality and women’s rights, while also acknowledging the challenges that still exist. In 2024, Women’s Month takes on even greater significance as we continue to navigate the complexities of the 21st century and work towards a more inclusive and equitable society. The theme for Women’s Month 2024 is “Empowering Women, Empowering Humanity: Picture it!” This theme underscores the importance of empowering women and girls to reach their full potential, not only for their individual benefit but also for the benefit of society as a whole. When women are empowered, they are able to contribute more fully to their communities, economies, and the world at large. By investing in women and girls, we are investing in a brighter future for all.

Historical Context of Women’s Month

Women’s Month has its roots in the International Women’s Day, which has been celebrated on March 8th since the early 20th century. The day was first observed in 1911 to advocate for women’s rights, including suffrage, equal pay, and the right to work. Over time, International Women’s Day evolved into a global celebration of women’s achievements and a call to action for gender equality. In many countries, International Women’s Day expanded into Women’s Month, a time to highlight the contributions of women in various fields, address gender disparities, and promote women’s empowerment. Women’s Month provides an opportunity to raise awareness about issues affecting women and girls, celebrate their achievements, and advocate for policies that promote gender equality.

The Evolution of Women’s Rights

Over the years, significant progress has been made in advancing women’s rights and promoting gender equality. Women have gained the right to vote, access to education and employment opportunities, and the ability to participate in political and social life. However, despite these advancements, gender disparities persist in various areas, including education, healthcare, employment, and political representation. In recent years, there has been a growing recognition of the importance of empowering women and girls to achieve sustainable development and promote social justice. Empowering women economically, politically, and socially is not only a matter of human rights but also essential for achieving the Sustainable Development Goals and building a more inclusive and equitable society.

Empowering Women Economically

One of the key focuses of Women’s Month 2024 is on economic empowerment for women. Despite progress in recent years, women continue to face barriers to full economic participation, including wage gaps, limited access to education and training, and discrimination in the workplace. Empowering women economically is crucial for sustainable development and growth, as women’s economic empowerment benefits not only individual women but also their families, communities, and societies. Empowering women economically involves providing women with equal access to economic opportunities, ensuring equal pay for equal work, and promoting women’s entrepreneurship and leadership in the business sector. It also requires addressing structural barriers that hinder women’s economic empowerment, such as discriminatory laws and practices, lack of access to financial resources, and limited opportunities for skills development and training.

Investing in women’s economic empowerment has numerous benefits, including poverty reduction, improved health and education outcomes, and increased economic growth. When women have access to economic opportunities, they can contribute to the economy, support their families, and participate more fully in society. By empowering women economically, we can create a more just and prosperous society for all.

Empowering Women Politically

Political empowerment for women is another important focus of Women’s Month 2024. Despite progress in recent years, women continue to be underrepresented in political leadership positions around the world. This lack of representation not only limits women’s ability to advocate for their rights and interests but also hinders progress on issues that affect women and girls.Empowering women politically involves increasing women’s representation in decision-making bodies, promoting gender equality in political parties and institutions, and ensuring that women have equal opportunities to participate in political life. It also requires creating a supportive and inclusive political environment that values women’s perspectives and experiences and provides them with the resources and support they need to succeed in politics. Political empowerment for women is essential for promoting gender equality, advancing women’s rights, and addressing issues that affect women and girls. When women are empowered politically, they can advocate for policies that promote gender equality, address gender-based violence, and improve access to healthcare and education. By empowering women politically, we can create a more inclusive and representative democracy that reflects the diversity of society.

Challenges and Opportunities

While significant progress has been made in advancing women’s rights and promoting gender equality, there are still challenges that need to be addressed. Gender disparities persist in various areas, including education, employment, healthcare, and political representation. Women continue to face discrimination, violence, and unequal opportunities in many parts of the world. In order to achieve true gender equality, it is essential to address the root causes of  gender inequality and discrimination. This includes challenging harmful gender norms and stereotypes, promoting women’s rights and empowerment, and creating supportive and inclusive environments that value women’s contributions. It also requires engaging men and boys as allies in the fight for gender equality and promoting a culture of respect and equality for all.

Women’s Month 2024 provides an opportunity to raise awareness about the challenges facing women and girls, celebrate their achievements, and advocate for policies that promote gender equality. It is a time to reflect on the progress that has been made and the work that still needs to be done to achieve true gender parity. By empowering women economically, politically, and socially, we can create a more just, inclusive, and equitable society for all.
